How to create a Google Cloud Platform Billing Account

First time user

1. Navigate to "Google Cloud Platform Billing"
2. Select your country
3. Select What best describes your organization or needs?
4. Agree to the Terms of Service
5. Click Continue
6. If the mobile number that is displayed is correct click continue
7. Enter your Business name
8. Enter your payment method details
9. Enter your address details
10. Click on Start my Free Trial
11. Your billing account is now active

• Create a GCP Hosted Compute instance
• Create a GCP Hosted SQL Database
• Create a Google Map API Key

Previous user creating a new Billing account

1. Navigate to "Google Cloud Platform Billing"
2. Enter Billing account name
3. Select your country
4. Click Continue
5. Verify your business payment profile details or change if required
6. Verify Business Name or Change if required
7. Select payment method or Add new payment method information
8. Select submit and enable billing
9. Your new billing account is now active
